Lansard Bros. Roofing has full liability insurance as well as Workers Compensation Insurance.
A copy of our proof of insurance is always available to our customers on our Website or by simply calling our office.
One of the most important things when a client is hiring a contractor is that the contractor is fully insured for liability and workers compensation insurance. It may not seem fair however, in the event that a contractor is working on your home without his own insurance, you the client are automatically considered the employer and therefore you are responsible and liable for any and all accidents or injuries that may occur during the course of the project. This responsibility can be very serious when considering things such as employment taxes, medical costs and exposure to future lawsuits. It is very important to hire only a well insured contractor.
- Do you provide your customers with a written contract that includes the scope of work and terms of payment?
Our estimators send our prospective clients written quotations that include complete and detailed scope of work and terms of payment.
- Do you provide a Workmanship Warranty?
Yes, we provide a 2 year warranty on Workmanship which is written and detailed on the back side of our contract with our clients.
- Do you provide your customers with a manufacturer’s warranty?
Yes, once we have completed your project and we have received payment in full, we will fill in the required information on your manufacturers warranty for you and provide it to you. Remember to keep it in a safe place and please don’t hesitate to contact us in the event you may suspect a defect in your shingles. We would be more than happy to contact the shingle manufacturer and have it looked at for you.
- Do you use only #1 quality materials meeting CSA approval?
Lansard Bros. Roofing never substitutes materials. We only use materials that are insurable and carry warranties and products made from these reputable manufacturers, IKO, BP Canada and CertainTeed.
